Will running wheel spacers with a leveling kit be a problem?

Why bother with the spacers until you get the bigger tires? I have the leveling kit and ran that with the stock Rubi tires until yesterday when I got 35s. Then I put spacers in and it works great with the new tires on the stock rims. I just like the look of the stock Rubi rims so decided to keep them. Looks great to me.
