I got the neoprene cover and loved it. if you can get one to fit your model of winch that is the one to get. Just spray it with this UV spay every couple of months and it will stay black and not fade.

I bought the warn neoprene cover, i believe it was for the xd9000i and put it in backwards for my warn m8000. The fit is great and It works good but faded pretty fast. I only put the uv protection spray on it one time, then ran out.

Default Warn VR10-S cover

I got 1 sq. Yd of black pleather from Walmart. Thick jewelry hemp string ( strong) leather sewing needles and some colored floss for decoration. Held the material up to the winch, rough cut to size, doubled the cut on another piece, guessed at the width, stitched it together. Picked up some strong bar magnets and duck taped them along the bottom edge. Matched the pattern for the zeon cover since my winch is setup similar. Took a couple of hours by hand, and finished with snow seal for good measure.
