I just bought this from eBay ...

hxxp://tinyurl.com/winchcover

I measured my Warn XD9000i and it should fit perfectly. I supposed some black paint will cover up the Gorilla logo ....

Actually ... if you look up the cover on their website ... There is no LOGO on it ... even better!

Default Yup, use one.....

use the cheesy soft vinyl on my Warn 9500ti. I've got a RockSlide Engineering front bumper with a winch well it sits down in, and the cover still fits fine down there over it. I spend alot of time out in the sand/dust and hot sun. It's cheap and helps keep the elements out of it. It doesn't look very cool to me, but like a condom.......it serves and protects.

We got a cover when be bought the Power Plant. The Jeep is kept in our garage but we are subject to a lot of snow here. We use the cover in the winter so snow doesn't get stuck in every little nook of the winch and is easier to brush off when using a big brush to remove as much snow as possible from the Jeep to keep the inside of the garage dry.

Just wondering if most guys put a cover on their winch (either vinyl or neoprene) or if you
just leave it exposed to the elements all the time.

Also ... do the covers work on bumpers that have an integral type winch mounting system
as opposed to the bumpers that have the winch sitting on top up high ??

I have not covered my Warn 9.5ti in the two+ years I have had it. I probably should for
the winter because of salt. It sits way down in the Mopar Offroad bumper though, not sure
what cover would fit.

In the summer, I would not cover it anyway because I think the trapped moisture would
cause more harm than leaving it open to dry.

So far, no signs of corrosion on it. It still works.

It helps that I can park the Jeep inside every night, although I mainly love that so I do not
have to dig the snow off or scrape the windows in the winter!
