Default Window tint?

Has anyone gotten their windows tinted after purchasing their JK? I'm getting mine done tomorrow... 28% on the front sides and 15% on the rear sides and back...

i'd like to see anyone else that may have darker/lighter tint.

????
Why are you going darker on your front then your rear?

Have you checked the legal % with your state and if front tint is allowed?

I would have the fronts lighter and the back darker.
With your fronts that dark you will have a hard time at night seeing next to you

He is going darker with the backs than the fronts. 28% is light transmitted, not amount of darkness.

Default Got my tint to match the rear factory tint

I'm not sure what transparency percentage the shop used on my front windows but I had them match the rear windows as close as possible. It came out great and I like it alot but it is hard to see out of at night if there are no street lights.

The factory tint looks to be a 30% or at most 20%. By the way I dont think a 28% tint exists, atleast I've never heard of it.

This is my concern about tinting the front windows... thanks for posting this - my concerns are legit, apparently!

I will try to get some some pictures of mine tonight/tomorrow and post them up. I have a 2 Door, non tinted soft top, but have 15% tinted front windows. And no its not legal where I live but haven't be hassled about it yet. The uncovered windshield and bumper lights have attracted many more cops.
