Looks good. Don't want to be the one that cuts you off.

Does this mean on our next night run that I'm in front now?

Default a possible solution to your wire problem

here's how/where i would run the wires. find how to get the wires under that panel and theres the firewall. you might have .5" of wire exposed put some duck tape around it and you're good. its just a possible solution to your wire problem i don't know if it would actually work seeing i've never taken those panels off but seems like it could be done.

Default Vision issues??

I have always mounted auxillary lights on the front bumper, I heard lights mounted near the windshield illuminates dust and makes it harder to see....anyone have opinions on this?

It's called supply and demand. Production cost is irrelevant.

The lights I bought are "long range". They have a clear lens and a pencil beam. I specifically used them so they would throw the light past my hood before spreading out too much. I will be adding the driving lights on my bumper when I get it. They spraed out more right from the light.

As far as illumination of the dust. I haven't had a problem with it yet.
