CT checking in
It'll happen this year, though, even if I end up having to pay some shop to do the work (which is a last resort for me - I want to learn how to do it myself!).
Oh, and you may have gotten the 1000th reply, but I got the 1000th post.
Nope, you didn't miss it... my living room is full of Jeep stuff! I haven't really had a chance to get together with my mechanic friend, and I don't have the know-how or tools to do most of it on my own, so the parts are just sitting for now. I've been recouping from surgery, too, which has set me back a few weeks.

I'd love the hang out there and watch'n'learn, but work and kids get in the way.

I love it. Going for the test drive the dealer said, "there is a lot of road noise and it will be a rough ride because its a sports car." I really had a hard time not laughing coming from the jeep. Although, I think I may have tracked a YJ for the winter/trail rig space in my life
Either way John (chopper) offered me a spot in his jeep for trail rides so I will still be around.
