Good one! That's what I figured, but given the location of the lunch, I didn't know if it was supposed to be a "boys night" kind of deal... and didn't want to step on any toes. Just being courteous, because I'm a (mostly) friendly Jeep person.

Chopper.......SO SORRY TO DISAPOINT YOU, but i didnt go...i chickened out. ..yup..i am a BIG BABY! went to the beach in West Haven instead, had alot of fun! broke my toe, had to walk a mile back to my jeep that sucked!

***DrinkingMyMilk...were you on washington street around 12:30 sunday? i think i may have saw you...you looked right at me ..IF that was you...i was in a silver jeep going toward Meriden***** did you go to Oz fest? People from where i work went..one girl here punched a guy in the face cuz he grabbed her butt!

We didn't meet yet - it's on the 25th. Hmmm... you thought it was on the 18th, so does that mean you'll be able to join us all?

 

Nope, I would have waved. The new girl friend keeps making fun of me for it, I don't think she understands .

I went to ozzfest around 9 just to catch ozzy.... what a a waste of time. He is to old and beat to hell to be on the road doing back to back shows like this.

Hooters is this weekend though. I don't know as of now if I will be able to go on the mini trail in the morning though. With all the stuff happening to my grandmother I am going to have to sneak out to the meet. Would any one mind if we went after? I don't think it should be to big of a deal, the sun doesn't go down until about 730 so we should be ok and it actually leaves us more time if need be.

 

You scaredy-cat! Good thing the tickets were free....huh? I almost went myself only because I heard that it was still possible to get tickets,
but then I said "screw it," because by that time I pretty much all ready had my day plannned out with too much stuff to take care of.

Oh well...no Ozzfest story from JK SAHARA, we'll have to get them from DRINK.
All though I wouldn't mind hearing about the broken toe incident.

I heard that there were about TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND people at the show!
I'm not sure if that's completly true mainly because of the source of the info.
But if it is... that place was PACKED F'ing tight!!!

I saw Rage Against The Machine there and I know there was at least 15,000 at that show and it was tight as hell then.
I think the place is rated for 30,000 but I'm not sure.

My friend that went said almost the same thing about Ozzy that DRINK said, "He shouldn't really do the shows any more, he's too old."

As for hitting the trail a little later after we meet up at Hooters, I'm OK with that, because at this point I have nothing else planned for that day.

But on the other hand if you have family matters to attend to...that comes first,
and you shouldn't worry about the trail ride this time because we can hit the trails when ever we please at another time,
but Grandmas are only here for just so long, and because of that they are more important than the trail.

Even if you can't make it to Hooters this time, don't feel bad, because that's not a big deal either.
We are going to get together again, and that's guaranteed, (RIGHT EVERYBODY????) because this is just the start of something cool
that will take place more and more, as we get to know each other.

I'm still up for meeting at Hooters on the Berlin Turnpike at 2:pm this Sat. whether we hit the trail or not, because that was the original plan any way.

JK SAHARA, will you and your husband be able to make it this Sat. too ??? That would be very cool if you can.
I'm sure that MJS and his wife will be there.

I am pretty sure I can go to Hooters on saturday..at 2..Hubby is trying to drag me to the Mustang get together in Cranston RI this weekend. I will try to get out of it, cuz i think that would be awesome to hook up and meet!
I have never been to Hooters before...Thought it was a guy thing...
CHOPPPPER.....Toe feels better today,swelling has gone down. Darn rebar sticking out of the cement ...maybe the flourescent orange spray paint that they painted them with was a dead give-a-way..ya think!
DRINKINGMYMILK- my husband doesnt understand the jeep thing either! though..when he was in his mustang, another mustang driver waved and he waved back! He was amazed on how many people stopped us this past weeknd to ask about my jeep...it was kinda cool!
