Ok, I am SO sorry that I dodn't tell everyone that I was off from work this past week and was staying at my sisters time share on the ocean in westbrook ( how could I say no to that????) All week I kept telling my girls .." they are gonna think i didnt like them" I liked all of you, you were all awesome! M & M....MJS888.. you guys were so cool! you made me feel so comfortable from the start...and NO, i didnt start having seizures because your jeep was muddy!!! as for you DRINK....I am NOT snubbing you guys...shame on you for even think that...very bad. Wait until I come with you on the trails and drive over you ha ha...( i will be the one stuck in the mud..with towels trying to clean it ) CHOPPER..you were so shy at first..i was shocked! It was nice to see you open up after the first few minutes. I drove around back when i left and checked out Drink & Chopps Jeeps...very cool. Very.
So anyways....Beach was fantastic...wanted to drive my jeep on it
Didnt have to cook all week..that was great...also went to RI to 1st beach and then hit some malls shopping...well...my fun is over..its back to work on Tuesday...UGH! again..I am so sorry about not telling everyone. Chopper...I thought i told you that you couldn't post for a week cuz you were late! <kidding> Missed everyone! My Grille insert mesh thing is FINALLY on its way..Fed Ex tracking...Sept 6th...at least I have something to be excited about!!! Hope everyone had a great week....thank you for caring..well except for DRINK who thought the worst...shame shame.

MJ how was tolland this morning? I woke up about an hour ago, I love boston. I am honestly considering moving here in January. Either here or New hampshire.... the choices when your young are awesome

 

Why? we can't move when we are old DRINK??? geeeze..yes we do need foot in mouth face!!!!! Boston is awesome...went to bay state college for a year...loved everything about Boston except where the traffic lights are located, on a pole on the side of the road..I am use to looking up...not across! almost lost my car back then!
Make sure you go to the New England aquarium across the street from Quincy Market...love the penguins!!

 

Tolland was awesome - a lot of fun! It's a lot closer than I thought... using my wife's Garmin to get us there on backroads, it was only about an hour drive - well worth the trip. The guys I wheeled with, and their families, were very nice. The terrain was maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 at its WORST points, but definitely doable in stock form. Also, we all wheeled the whole day tops down in the sun, in what turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL sunny day. It was just a great time all-around. So, summary: it was a really fun trip and I'd definitely do it again.

You guys/gals have to come along next time! WELL worth the drive time and distance, and unless you pick a really horrible line, your Jeep will come out in one piece on the other side! I'm still open to the idea of us getting together to do a Canton night run wheeling... although I think it'd be best if we wait for a little rain to fall, so that the trail's a little more challenging and not bone-dry and dusty. Canton's probably almost the same difficulty as Tolland in its worst spots, although I can think of one spot in particular that's probably an 8 out of 10 in difficulty in Canton...

Anyhow - back to work I go. Hope you all had a great Labor Day - I did!

It was a great time. It was pretty dusty, and the water crossings not as wet as in May, but still worth the trip. I'm going to try to go at least 1/month until the snow's too deep to see the rocks.

 

No, I meant it - good times. Try to give me a couple weeks' notice when you plan on heading to Tolland again, and I'll do my best to join you again - already looking forward to the next trip!

 

I just meant it is easy to do when you young and nothing like US KIDS holding you back. I applied to a few schools up there today, emerson and emmanuel. If I can get in for January I think I will be saying bye-bye to the jeep :sad:. No way I can afford it and school but I really want to go to school.

I was at the Aquarium sunday, what an awesome place I can't wait to go back but I don't think I will for a few weeks. Have you eaten at dicks last resort? I have never laughed so hard.
