In other news today I turned my Jeep around on the side of the house man did she sound rough.

Just got the packet chrysler sent to the state where they state they want to fight it. So really no news. Just sitting waiting for a court date.

 

Update on the bike end.

Thanks mj for letting me know about tunxis, I signed up today take the class, June 6,7 and June 13,14 and can't wait.

On the way home I stopped at the dealer to sit on bikes and see what I like. I am going with the 250r for sure. I am not a speed freak and never have been but I think I'll have this for about 2 seasons and pass it on to amy so I can get something around a 600 or 750. If any one knows a dealer with a blue 250 ninja please let me know. I found one getting a red one in a couple weeks but he want $500 down to hold it, non refundable so I laughed in his face and walked out. (hate being 20, no one take you seriously.)

 

I'm a programmer, and I have both a laptop and a desktop (in the office)... I dial in through my laptop, and access my desktop remotely, so I always have two computers going (not including my home PC). It's a great set-up, because I can run big jobs that take a long time off my office desktop, and then switch back to my laptop for speedy stuff.

I've always wanted a bike... But my father's only brother was killed on one. Chances are he was being stupid, but still, the parents would probably disown me!


My father's uncle was also in a motorcycle accident and is now paralyzed from the waist down. BUT, he still rides! . He has a nice trike setup for him, and loves to go riding still. I try to use that as an argument to get one, but it never seems to work.



What's worse is the girlfriend is against them too! So looks like there will never be a motorcycle in my future

 

Yeah, I lost an uncle on a bike... drunk driver wasn't paying attention (surprise!) and rammed him off a bridge! All she got was a short-term license suspension and no jail time (this was in the 70's, right around the time I was born)...

A good friend of mine's dad rides, and I always hear him telling my friend that if he didn't have 30+ years on a bike and he were our age, seeing all the careless and aggressive drivers in N.E., he would never start riding to begin with!

(That doesn't stop me from wanting one, though.)

 

Of course, this is going to be a nice day thing. I don't expect to ride 10,000 miles a summer. maybe 1,000 to 2,000 at most. I've always wanted one but in all honesty I think the number of riders is going to sky rocket in the next few years because of gas and I think it can only become safer for riders. When I signed up today the woman told me it has been the busiest year they ever have had. classes are full up to the end of June but, some guy canceled today and I happened to walk in with perfect timing now if I could only have good timing on finding this...

 

Sooooooooooooooooo I just bought it in green got it up in enfield and picking it up thursday (first day I can get a trailer)

 

Congrats... Where do you get all this $$$???
