Hey there Randy That really sucks (about your ankle that is)
Is it your clutch leg or gas leg? Either way it's a bummer.
Did you fall getting out of the Jeep? I know with mine,
even with out a lift, I myself had a couple of near misses.

I'm sure that I speak for every one when I say..I would love to
see what your Jeep looks like now with the lift and tire's on it that you were
planing on getting....Got any pictures yet?

I busted up my right leg. Slipped on the only one foot patch of ice on my sidewalk. Here's some eye candy for you. It's the only one I have.

Or are you still trying to fogure that one out ( like me ) ?
Not sure yet on how high I want to get. Seeing as the wife is only 5' tall, I think I'm pretty limited in how high I can go... If I go 2.5", I'll get the OME lift, but I'm considering going 4-5"... but if I go that tall, then from what I understand I'll have to replace driveshaft, etc., which adds up FAST. Ultimately, I only want to run 35" tires, so I don't know if it'd really be worth doing a 4-5" lift.

So (as you can tell) I'm all over the place, and still trying to decide. Any thoughts?

RedRubi - your Jeep looks awesome - great job!

Sweeeeeet.

I guess you don't need sliders sitting up that high , but do you plan to put something back on?

Is that the stock spare?

Either that's the stock spare, or a severely overcooked donut got stuck to his tailgate... it looks so puny compared to those big meats!

I have been toying with the thought of 33" tires and a 4" or 4.5" inch lift. But like you said about the drive shafts...there are those and other parts that need to be taken into consideration which will really add up when it comes to the change that I'll have to shell out, and at the moment I really want to get my '66 Triumph motorcycle back on the road more than lift my Jeep.
My Jeep has been getting all the attention, now it's time to show my bike some lovin' otherwise she'll get too jealous and leave me stranded someplace where I least expect it this coming summer.

I still have to cut the factory rails down, and that's still the factory spare on the back. I don't have enough funds to get a rear bumper and full size spare for now. It took 2 weekends to do it myself in the driveway with hand tools and another weekend to get everything adjusted to were I was happy with it.
