CT checking in
What's going on everyone. Sorry to here about your luck Milk. It's been a crappy time here. I got my lift, tires and driveshafts all done 2 weeks ago. Then i went out for a ride that night, came home, slipped on the ice, broke a bone in my ankle, spiral fractured my fibula and tore the ligiments in my ankle.
Life Sucks. The weather getting better and I'm itching to so some wheeling. We'll all have to get together soon. Later.

Did you fall getting out of the Jeep? I know with mine,
even with out a lift, I myself had a couple of near misses.
I'm sure that I speak for every one when I say..I would love to
see what your Jeep looks like now with the lift and tire's on it that you were
planing on getting
....Got any pictures yet?
Seeing as the wife is only 5' tall, I think I'm pretty limited in how high I can go... If I go 2.5", I'll get the OME lift, but I'm considering going 4-5"... but if I go that tall, then from what I understand I'll have to replace driveshaft, etc., which adds up FAST. Ultimately, I only want to run 35" tires, so I don't know if it'd really be worth doing a 4-5" lift.So (as you can tell) I'm all over the place, and still trying to decide. Any thoughts?
RedRubi - your Jeep looks awesome - great job!
HEY!!! SCOTT!!! What's goin' on man !?!
Actually I was up because I was offered breakfast out to eat for my birthday, which was actually on Tues. but we were celebrating it a bit late. I'm going to go see Santana on 4-4 up in Boston so that's when I'll really be celeberating my birthday

WOW
That sucka look freakin' great!!!
Did you set it up yourself, or did you have someone do it for you?
I'm just being nosey....Either way it looks great!
Mine will be up there sometime too.
I have been toying with the thought of 33" tires and a 4" or 4.5" inch lift. But like you said about the drive shafts...there are those and other parts that need to be taken into consideration which will really add up when it comes to the change that I'll have to shell out, and at the moment I really want to get my '66 Triumph motorcycle back on the road more than lift my Jeep.
My Jeep has been getting all the attention, now it's time to show my bike some lovin'
otherwise she'll get too jealous and leave me stranded someplace where I least expect it this coming summer.

Not sure yet on how high I want to get.

I still have to cut the factory rails down, and that's still the factory spare on the back. I don't have enough funds to get a rear bumper and full size spare for now. It took 2 weekends to do it myself in the driveway with hand tools and another weekend to get everything adjusted to were I was happy with it.
