Great looking pics Bob... seems like everyone was having a blast. Where abouts in western Ma? Looks like a nice trail for sure. Was the Sahara stock and how did it do?

Did you do the install yourself? If so, how did it go?

Have fun picking out your skids and good luck breaking the Dana 35!
Thanks again for the info.

I had the guys at Doctor Wheels do it for me when I drove down to join the CCJC.

If I had a driveway to work in I would have done it myself and saved a few bucks, it's pretty straight forward on the install. Unfortunately I live in an apartment complex that has strict rules about working on your cars/trucks in their lot.

I was looking at the Rubicon Express lifts, but it seems like the Teraflex Lift is more inclusive. Plus everybody here loves it.

However, I think with 33's the Rubicon express just fits better. Oh, the decisions that plague me..

Call me paranoid. I wanted to stay as close to the lifting guidelines as possible for this State.

Well Happy B-day every one. Like every body in mass. I would love to find some legal trails to run on the south shore? Without joining a club. me

Well I did the calculation in the past. 3.2" for Lift and 3.2 for tire hieght. or a total of 6 in reality. Neither can exceed 3.2 but they can both equal to 6.

This is based on the longer 4 door. I beleive I saw the calcuation on the 2 door at like 2" and 2" or 4 total.

So for example a 31" tire height is the actual standard tire height for the 4 door that is used for the calculation. This being said I figured that then I can go up to 3" actual height increase or up to a 37" tire.

Disclaimer: I do not take responsibility for the calculations even though it was checked 400 times by several folks who questioned and doubted me. The Mass writeup is complex and is really subject to the jerk trying to give you a ticket. It is outlined as two peices the lift height vs tire size.

They only measure us from the center of the front bumper. On my last truck I just added a lower front bumper to comansate for the rediculous amount of lift over the lift law. I am concerned about getting hassled with the new bumper on the Jeep. I will have the stubby with the RRC tube. But the RRC tube is still very high. But the law says the center of the bumper.. and doesn't say anything about corner protection. I have a feeling I will be testing the waters here in a little while. 4" lift and a stubby... the front end will look menacing.

Rather than ask you to explain all that, do you have a link to something?
