Just curious, are any of you guys running the dynomax rockcrawler catback here in MA?
I ran it for a while. Passed inspection with no issues the first time. However, due to clearance issues with my rear sway bar, I chopped the exhaust to dump just over the rear axle. I brought my Jeep in for some minor welding work on a bracket and the guy who runs the place (and does inspections) told me that it would not pass inspection as the tailpipe needed to dump behind the rear seats and technically any eclosed cargo area. Either way, I still passed but it might be due to me payng him for other work on my Jeep.
The exhaust is very loud outside with only minimal drone inside the cab. I did bang it up a little off-road because it sits slightly below the frame. It's a great exhaust system and sounds great. Just don't park it in an attached garage that sits below your master bedroom if you have a wife that has summers off. She will get pissed everytime you start it in the morning......hence why I swapped to the super turbo muffler. Still not perfectly quiet but doesn't shake the garage and house as much upon startup!
