Yeah, I took a look at the rock and what I could see of your undercarriage, while you were hung up on that rock, and didn't notice a thing - so it's not just you that didn't see it. Not sure why it wouldn't have leaked immediately, though.

Where is the oil pan leaking. Is it on the drivers side right next to the drive shaft? I've seen some mildly lifted and non-lifted jeeps contact the tranny pan with the drive shaft boot when the front is disconnected. You'll know becuase you'll see the marks on the driveshaft or the boot.
(Edit: Really sorry to hear about the latest developments JdTms11. I really hope it's not major.)

thanks guys, i put up pics of it on the trails and tales thread. basically im going to need a new tranny pan and probably a new tranny skid as there is no way for it to get hammered back into the right shape. what happened was when i landed on the tranny skid, the top of the cross member has and edge to it, where the sides of the metal have been bent upwards to create sort of a U shape, when i came down on the rock hard it pushed the skid and cross member up hard enough where the front edge of the cross member creased the pan and folded in the front portion of it.

the leak is very slow, my dad said there was about a dollar size spot in the garage and in my lot at school after class (6 hrs later) there was about a bolonia sized spot (probubly not that much b/c the asphalt absorbes and makes the spot look bigger)
im pretty confident that the leak is only because of the way the front of the pan was bent in, and its only leaking from around the back half of the seal.
200 miles later and then i find this out, im pretty confident that the transmision its self is fine and all img going to need is a new pan.
the only thing still bothering me how ever is the fact that it stalled twice (auto transmision) first when it hit and then a second time when my buddy was driving and started to spin in a muddy turn. the first time makes sence to me but the second stall does not. since the trail run though its been running fine and sounds normal.
now thinking about what i should tell them when i take it in, a rock did not do damage to the pan the skid F'd up the pan and the rock F'd up the skid. dunno if thats worth arguing prolly not, but reguardless im expecting this to cost me about 3-4 hundo.

You can fix all that yourself fairly easily. I've had that skid off my Jeep a few times already. It's only on with 3 bolts. And the tranny pan is an easy fix too. You can either straighten out the old one or put up a new one. I wouldn't bring it to the dealer for that one. Not something I would want them to record in the computer.
As for the skid. We can straighten that puppy out. Or you could see about finding one used on here from someone that removed it. It's funny. A lot of guys out west told me to just ditch mine when I lifted the Jeep because the drive shaft hits it. I cut the skid up for the drive shaft to clear. I've got a lot of rock rash on mine... glad I didin't listen and just leave it off.

Man, where do you live? You can get a OEM pan and gasket and I'll do the work for you. I'd hate to see you have to pay for this. It is a matter of taking the 8 or 10 bolts off (after draining) and putting the gasket and pan in place and tightening up. It's a little messy but is really a quick way to burn $100.00 per hr in labor. As tex said I wouldn't want this on the computer.

Sorry- I didn't have any more video (my buddy didn't shoot my hill climb, r abunch of others...) I know Ben was shooting too, and he probably got it. I'll try to send you the movie.
even if i goto the dealer and tell them what went down but dont do the work will they still put the damage into the computer? if thats the case ill just go get a new pan from them and order a much better skid online. if no one catches this by 12 thats what im going to do.
