Trail ride
Just wanted to say thanks to Tex for saying hey and checking in to see if my rig was ready for her maiden voyage on this ride... Sunday the 30th is a Patriots home game against the Steelers. My wife and I have season tickets so we and the Jeep will be in Foxboro otherwise we'd be there for sure. Hope you guys have a great ride.
We know it's getting late in the year but we hope to make a ride soon as we don't want to wait till the spring.

Ditto - really looking forward to wheeling again. Looks like I WON'T have my new tires installed, but that won't keep me off the trail... I'll just be extra-cautious about mud traction.
So - to confirm:
We're doing the run this coming Sunday, 11/30, and are meeting at the Friendly's at 21 Southampton Rd, Westfield, MA 01085. When are we meeting?

i proposed 10am as that seems the time we have usually gone with in the past. i dunno if anyone wanted to grab some grub before hand which would mean meet at 9am. if anyone wants to meet later then that just chime in.

with 25 degrees at night and highs at 40 daytime. Mud might not be an issue. Might feel like a really long rock crawl.
Curious. How far(time wise) from Friendly's to the trail? Speed limits? I will be disconnecting my sway bar in the parking lot if the speeds are under 50mph. This thing wasn't bad with the 33's disconnected at speed. But, I'm thinking it will be a wee bit different now with 37's.
If someone wants to do video.. that's fine with me.... they will have chilly fingers....

Speaking of stopping for pics, etc., can we discuss the frequent stops that we always seem to make on these rides? I understand if you have little ones with you, and they need a bathroom break, etc., but there have been a few trips now where we've been stopping for no real reason, frequently.
Obviously, we'll want to stop for good photo ops, in places where we'll need a spotter, etc., but can we agree to try to keep the stops to a minimum? Or, is it just me that feels this way?
