Thumbs up FNG from Kingman, AZ

Hey there everyone!!! We just purchased a 2013 JKU with minor cosmetic "upgrades." We can't wait to get this baby built up and attacking the AZ trails. While I'm new to JKs, I'm well versed in the ways of the JEEP. My first was a 97 TJ with a 4 banger built like a brick $h!thouse on 35's that conquered anything I threw at it, even with the little engine. My second was a 2003 TJ with the 4.0 and built a little milder with 33's that took me to Moab for Easter Jeep Safari. I also had a Frankensteined Samurai with a Harley side draft carb that was just a little toy goat...

Look forward to gaining knowledge on these JKs, building this thing and maybe meeting some of you and wheeling AZ...

PS- Will post pics of the Jeep as soon as possible, but a forewarning... It looks hokey with the OEM fenders replaced and the street tires...LOL

Welcome to JKF. The JK was/is a solid platform and easy to work on much like the TJs. My '13 has been solid for 100k miles with nothing but regular fluid changes and a new radiator ....but that is just an issue with the JKs in general.

Welcome to JKF! I like the factory fenders, LOL. Passed through your neck of the woods a few weeks ago on my way to run the Nevada Backcountry Discovery Route, which starts in Oatman. I filled my jerry cans in Kingman.

I took a Route 66 road trip out there with a pickup towing a camper and thought to myself "what a great place to have a Jeep". So much to explore.

Finally got around to posting a teaser pic... Obviously, I've begun to Just Empty Every Pocket... But I do it gladly.

My latest tribulation is that the rear passenger side brake caliper bracket mounting bolt fell out. Headed to the hardware store after work, in search of a grade 8 bolt that matches.
