Default Hello from Virginia!

Hey folks! Glad to be here! I'm on my second Wrangler rig and figured it's about time I join the party. US Army Vet in the Richmond, VA area.

I envy you- both for the Recon and your proximity to Hardywood. Welcome from TN.....though a long time VA resident from the Hampton Roads area.

I envy you more because I'm betting you don't have to drive hours to reach a decent legal wheeling location. My office (back before COVID when I left my house for work) is across the road from Hardywood. Great place!

Eh, about 45 mins to the closest park. It's true though, wheeling in VA can be pretty scarce. You've got Flagpole and ....Bald Mountain? it's been a while. From Richmond though, you're closer to Rausch Creek if you want a larger play area. It's only 4.5 hours north of you if you want a weekend trip.

Yep you're correct, all these Richmond Jeepers without a place to play. I've done Flagpole and Bald Mountain in my previous JK, really enjoyed them. I've looked into Peters Mill but it seems as though it's basically a long dirt road without any obstacles. Rausch looks really sweet and I would love to try that one out.

Thanks! It’s like a chameleon, poof, one moment it’s brown and the next it’s white!
