Default HEY!! :) From Philly...

Hey everybody....

Been lurkin here for a while, was impatiently waiting to be activated.

I'm a couple of weeks away from ordering my first Jeep, a 2010 Unlimited Sport Hardtop...
I was anxious to post, because I wanted all of your input on the few options I was going to get ~ the Limited Slip, Infinity/Subwoofer package (I love good loud music and want to be able to hear it with the top off), and the Dual Top option (I want to be all good in the winter but enjoy my warm summer sunny and possible rainy days)...

Please voice your experience and opinions, if any of the above named are necessary, or if I should opt for something else.

Look forward to bein here a while and gettin to meet some of ya down the line in the Pine Barrons or Rausch Creek!

Welcome.

I have an 07 X 4D with the limited slip factory 4.10s, and the factory sub. Good choices. The limited slip works great, and with the ESP it does a pretty good job off road. The sub kicks well. I run a soft top all year here in WI and it is not bad. It is warmer than my CJ5 with no heater so I can't complain.....

You will love it !!

Welcome and I hope to see you out at RC someday. I'm up in Reading and try to go up once a month.

Welcome to the forum! Reading, PA area here. If I were you, I'd go with the LSD, maybe the Infinity sound if it isn't a huge upgrade money-wise, and skip the dual tops. I run the soft top year round, and it has held up well. It stays nice and warm. Some guys on here even say the hard top keeps it colder in the winter...

Welcome...
I just bought my Sahara Unlim this fall. I'm really lovin it.
I just have the softtop and just went through a major snow storm. No problems. If you want a hardtop though...get it as the factory option. It's more difficult to add later.

I'm quite happy with the infinity sound system. I recently replaced the standard sat head unit with a Mygig RER. It's really outstanding.
