Well Hello everyone.
I joined the forum quite a while before picking up my JK. I ended up getting an 09 Rubi in the new Deep Water Blue colour a month ago now, and got some trail pinstrips, and unintentionally had the evap canister relocation mod done during my first trip down Hell's' trail. (Yes this was my first trail run ever, and the 09 JK was only 2 weeks old) Yup I had the only stock rig on the trail and she had no problem keeping up with the modified TJs, CJ, YJ, and Cherokees.
I am not completely new to off roading but have not done any for over 10 years. back then I did some mild back-road and fireroad fooling around out in Nova Scotia with a crappy old Nissan King Cab, which I beat into the ground, then replaced with a Cherokee.
I have just spent the last 2 days home sick with the flu and that gave me the chance to read up all 3859 posts in the "what was done to you JK this week' thread.
WOW, I feel like I know some of you, and JKKat, how many things have you broken on RubiDoo?
Anyway, I will go there now and post up on what Ive got up to during my first month as a JK owner.
Looking forward to a short winter, and wheeling early in the spring (fingers crossed anyway)

So I went on a nice little "Stock Friendly run"
Like I mentioned in my first post. I have gone out with some local guys (All Jeeps, no other JKs) for what they said would be a "STOCK FRIENDLY RUN!"
well here is a video of some of the highlights, you be the judge

I had a great time. met some really good guys, was totally impressed by the JK, and go the fever to Mod and lift and go nuts on it,
Can't wait to go out again, but hopefully with some stronger skids, and maybe a lift as well.

Thanks,
Glad to be here.
I must admit that I have found about 6 forums, most for local wheeling clubs and forum groups, and with all that, I didnt get into this forum. It seemed the hardest to keep track of, but I'm glad I stuck with it until I figured it out.
I am sure this is the best place to get advise, tip, and great mod ideas for my JK.
