Default Jeep long start when hot engine

I have the same issues on my 2017 jkur. It's has long start up issues after the jeep is warm and sits for 10 min or longer. Starts right up when engine is cold. I have changed the fuel pump, crank position sensor, both camshaft sensors, map sensor, cold air intake sensor and new spark plugs with no success. Have not had any codes populate on computer even checked for any that had made been stored. Nothing. I am at a total loss at this point. Does anyone have a solution to this ongoing madness?

Welcome to JKF. Good family friendly members, much experience and knowledge here.. haven't noticed this condition & what you have replaced is impressive and costly.. In carb'd vehicles I'd go looking for vapor lock, but this is fuel injected with much higher fuel pressure in the lines to the injectors.. What is the mileage on your rig? Have you used fuel system cleaner; i.e.. Chevron Techron (which works very well - I use about every 3 months).

It only has the hard start issues when it sits after engine is warm. It runs great and will start right up after engine is warm if I don't let it sit. I thought first was fuel pump allowing fuel to loose pressure thru fuel regulator check valve inside pump. All the fuel maintains pressure and I even checked the fuel pump relay in the ecm. Everything is working properly.

Hey, I pretty much have same issue in older 2010 jeep. I replaced all the sensors and just recently the fuel pump, and stil get extended crank randomly, possibly when hot engine. I now think its related to the fuel pump relay getting heat soaked or stuck somehow or maybe a ground. Maybe the relay would check good but under certain hot conditions it still fails, not sure. I know you can bypass it but probably not a long-term fix.

I believe it to be an injector leaking by flooding the engine after sitting. Then when it sits overnight the vapors are gone. I have replaced everything but my injectors. If you change them let me know. That's the only thing left on mine that I have not replaced. I even replaced my evap components with no succes.

You can you tube the fuel rely bypass video. It will show you how to bypass it. I thought the same thing but it was not the rely failing intermittently

Yeah, it looks like we both are in the same boat then. I did the TIPM bypass and even bought a plug-in relay, still getting the extended crank after hot engine sitting for a while. I recently started a 2 second start method where I turn the key to ON and wait 2 secs before turning to Run, if I do that it seems to start every time.
