Just wanted to say Hi and introduce ourselves to the JK Family!
Well I guess it's time to introduce ourselves to the JK-Forum community. First, let me say it really is refreshing to for us to finally be invovled in a forum with other adults...
...previously we were in 350Z, Mitsubishi Evo, Chevy Truck and chrysler 300m forum with only the later having adults who didn't spend their time just waiting to blast someone for posting a question already ASKED somewhere in the many threads. That said:
We are both car enthusiasts with my wife being the one who was brought up around Jeeps. Her father had a customized 50-something willy's Wagon, still has his '62 Willy's pick up he bought new, as well as a 73 CJ and a 4X4 Liberty. Her dad was a forest ranger growing up so she's grown up off-roading and in 4x4's. Later she was into custom cars owning a Chrysler 300M (Calendar Car) and a customized 350Z Roadster.
I'm more of the street guy owning customized street trucks, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, as well as Lifted Trucks and Full Sized 4x4's, together we've spent a lot of time loving the hobby of customizing whatever it is we are driving.
We always wanted a Jeep but until the Unlimited 4D came out it wasn't practical since together we have 4 kids (3 living at home). Last year we got married and decided it was time to own our dream vehicle so we traded in 2 of our 4 cars for a Jeep Rubicon we had been searching for. We looked for over a year for distances over 500 miles away. Finally we found the right one for our needs just 200 miles away at the Long Beach Jeep Dealership. They where motivated and we where excited to have our first project as a married couple (married in Sept '08). Pictured is the Jeep we rented in Tulum and really helped to light the fire to go out and buy one.

[/IMG]What we hope to gain from all of you is your knowledge, love and experience in Jeep and more specifically the JK. We apologize for the long winded intro but wanted to share what we bring to the forum and hope we'll be able to contribute (give) as much as we gain (receive).
Thanks for taking the time to read our intro!
