Welcome to the forum! How do you feel about the whole aluminum parts talk lately? Just curious if that's why you went to the 17 over the 16.

I had no choice, I just got my order in a tad to late for the 16 and the dealer was told it was switched to a 17. I didn't care other than having a little longer wait. I owned a 2009 SRT8 Challenger that had the aluminum fenders, hood and so on. No problem with that.

Makes sense. Keep us updated, or me at least. I'm interested to see how the aluminum body work affects (positively or negatively) people's opinions of them. Also curious as to how sturdy they'd be if you take it offroad as you should.

I have no plans to go off road, bought this to put the top down and ride around the back country roads with the wife. I had to quit riding motorcycles back in 08 because of health problems then went to golf carts here local and after that it was a RZR 4 door, here we can tag them for roads 40 mph and less.We done that for 2 1/2 years and little to uncomfortable so a JK was the obvious.
