New JX X in Ft. Lauderdale area
Hello all. I have been lurking for a while, just bought a JK X and absolutely love it. I have learned so much from this forum that it hasn't even begun to sink in yet.
My X is a daily driver, and I deliver pizza down on the beach with it right now. I see a lot of jeeps in the area, and it is a sheer joy to drive. I traded a Hyundai Accent for it, and have no regrets.
I have a digital camera, but have yet to get a pic. Haven't had time with all I have needed to do. I will post one as soon as I get the chance to.
Looking forward to some off road outings, and the opportunity to actually put it into 4WD. It'll be more than a mall crawler, but I have to keep it sane, since I am using it for work.
Am working on a toolkit for it. I have most of the tuff already. I also have a tow strap, a come along, and assorted radio gear that I am going to install, as soon as I liberate some funds. I have actually done one vehicle recovery with it so far, but the only thing I needed to do was duct tape a mirror so that someone could drive home.
It definitely drives best with the top down.
I have been riding Harleys for 10 years now. I would have to say that the jeep is as close to that as I think anyone can get on 4 wheels. Both are black, and have chrome.
Thanx to the mods for this board. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can.

YO! A Local! Welcome!
The Sunshine State Forum is booming so make sure you stop by really quick and register! We actually have a ride coming up the 2nd week in January we would love to have you join!
My Sebring Convertible was my solution to giving up the motorcycle. I would put the Jeep 3rd, but it's unlike anything I have ever driven before...
