Hey folks! Marc here from southwestern Ontario, Canada. I finally managed to sign up after lurking here for about a month. I originally came across the site while doing some research on lifts, and kept coming back as I found a whole lot more information about the JK than I had expected.
Although this is my first Jeep, I have always loved them. In fact my first vehicle was almost an '80 Cherokee Chief... man was she a beautiful beast! Didn't work out as I didn't have the ability to fix her up. That was 12 years ago though, and I have had my '08 Sahara Unlimited in Jeep Green for just over a year now and love it!
I will try to keep from asking the questions that have been asked a bazillion times, but I'm sure that one will slip through at some point.
I am planning a cross-continent trip for next year from my home - about 2 hrs from Detroit - to Los Angeles and back. I will likely be asking for tips from anyone who has done the trip in the past.
Thanks to all for the help you provided while I was lurking, and thanks in advance for the help I will get from all in the future! Cheers.

Welcome to the forum! When the time comes and you decide you need ideas or information about the northern Rocky Mountain area (Wyoming, Yellowstone Park, Grand Teton Park, etc.) let me know and I will try to answer any questions you may have. Meanwhile, happy trails to you.
