Default Yet another Tejas newb

Greetings to all. I've been lurking for a little over a week now, but figured I should go ahead and introduce myself. After a 7 year hiatus from Jeeps (former Cherokee owner), I'll soon be back in the saddle with an '08 JK in the next few months. I live in McKinney, which is a northern suburb of Dallas. I've been talking with the folks at El Dorado Jeep in McKinney. If anyone has any past experience with this dealership, please PM me.

I'm looking at ordering an X Unlimited in Rescue Green with the soft top and full doors. Options currently in mind are the 24S package, tow hooks, fog lamps, and Sirius.

I also see that we've got a few fellow OSU Cowboys on the board. Go Pokes!!!

Looking forward to wasting many hours here when I should be working.

My wife happens to be an accountant of all things. That said, between my home theater stuff, mountain biking, and soon to be the JK, I'll have plenty of expensive hobbies to choose from.

It's all good though, this bad boy is going to spend most of it's time as a DD with the dirty stuff coming primarily on mountain biking outings and camping trips. I like to get away from the more poplar areas, so I'll finally have a vehicle capable of getting me there.

That said, I'm definitely feeling the upgrade bug even though I havne't even ordered my JK yet. The hardest part is deciding what to do first. I'm trying to figure out a good way to get BFG M/T's right away without dropping full retail on them. Anyone know of any tire shops that would give a decent credit on 5 brand new Goodyears? I would love to pop a 2.5" BB and some new M/T's under the beastie right away.

Of course, then there's the small accessories like grab handles, Husky mats, etc. Gotta love rewards cards!

I placed my order earlier today. Hopefully I'll get a nice Christmas present this year, but I'm betting that I won't see her until January.
