Thanks for the reply. Construction is tough right now, especially on the residential side. LA has a LOT of construction going on.

Here is a great camp site at the springs past the care takers place. There is a rope swing in the area too.

I believe you are referring to is either the "Dirty Dozen campground", or right next to it upstream. The site is before cadillac and after the springs.

Let's still plan on this trip! I am in! Would like to start at loon lake, run to buck island and camp one or two nights. Then head back out the Wentworth springs road route.

Post up if you are in and if you want to go Friday thru Sunday or Saturday thru Sunday.
