3/22/2008 JK Reiter Trails run
Hi All,
Everybody is welcome to run this trail run and there is a good assortment of trail types.
Plans are to meet at The Mountain View Dinner in Goldbar, WA. @ 9:am for breakfast and go to the main lot from there. If there is a consensis we could make it 8:am also.
Things to bring, warm clothes, mud tires, water proof shoes, lockers help but not needed, winch is a good idea, lunch food, straps, some other things i can not think of at this time.
Directions;
Seattle Area/ south, I-5 or I-405 north to Route 522 east to Route 2 east then go till Mountain View dinner on right on the far side of Goldbar across from Family Grocer.
North, I-5 south to route 2 east and go till Mountain view Diner in Gold Bar, WA.
Please make notes and suggestions as needed and hope to see a bunch of you there.

With any luck, Northridge4x4 will be done with my FT 4" LA lift in time for me to break it in on this trip.
If so I'll plan on meeting at the restaurant. If not, I don't think my Saab will do well on the trails.
Either way, I'll drop in here and let everyone know if they should expect me or not Friday evening.

gah .. this is what I get for being a organizer ... my jeep is OOC ... for who knows how long.
Its going to sit til' tommorow ... front drive axle is shot as with the 4wd/front dif. ...
so I am NOT going ...
:( I will have to make it out when my JK is running and driveable.

Turns out that FT hasn't even shipped my lift to Northridge4x4 yet. At least David will be seeing them down at EJS and he promised to bust their balls over the long delay.
I was really looking forward to heading to Reiter, but I don't know how much fun I'd be able to have on stock wheels tires and ride height (not to mention the crappy 3.21 gear ratio).
Have a great time and I'll see you on the next one (I hope).

For those going on this, can you let me know the degree of difficulty of the trails you plan to take. JKKAT chimed in on the WA Jeeping People thread that it is to be determined.
I'd like to join the group but I'm a complete novice and don't have lockers or sway bar disco's. Don't want to slow anybody down but can join the group if the trail you plan to take is doable for my first real go of things.
Let me know.

to start and see how things go from there.
