Lots of bad news guys. I heard that every trail and most of the dirt roads are going to be closed. Worse off... I might not make it. Jeep went to the shop today I think the heater coil went out! I might not be able to get the funds together to go but will try.

Well that's a bummer but what can you do? Sorry to hear about your Jeep. We may have to do a late spring run, I have been looking at some trails in the Wind River mountains that look pretty sweet. Also there is the Morrison Jeep trail that is pretty popular as well. Look up the Christina Lake trail and Morrison on YouTube. Anybody have a plan B?

I just talked to an old buddy of mine that literally has Jeep flowing thru his blood. He has one trail in mind that would be open/accessible that time of year and is willing to lead the trip. We would all basically rally up in Sinclair, WY. That's a 3.5 hour drive from Denver, probably an hour from Cheyenne. From there we would tool around up by Seminole Reservoir to Pathfinder Reservoir thru Fremont Canyon and ultimately end up in Casper. Those that wanted to could skip going thru Casper and take Hwy 487 back south, but the interstate should be a lot faster. Tony will be calling me with details of the trails and directions later this evening. He said that there is a good variety of obstacles that can be taken advantage of on that route. What I stated above is a really general rough explanation of the trip. I am sure we could find some floors or what not if people didn't want to make the drive back that evening.

Holler back ASAP if you would be interested at all so we don't put a lot of planning into this for nothing. If people are down then it could be a really fun trip. A little more of a commitment than the first plan...

I would be down. There are still plenty of trails open up in Encampent at the time we are going. The trail numbers are 3407, Hog Park Rd, FR 550, and Blackhall Rd.
