Eastern WA/CDA CHECK IN!!!
Just a reminder for those of you that are interested in a club that does trail rides each month.
The North Idaho Trail Blazers (NITB) meets on the first Wed of each month at 6:30 PM in Cabela's in Post Falls. The meeting room if on the right after you enter Cabela's and is just past the cafeteria.
But come early as seating is limited!
I can't post a link to the NITB web site as they are not a forum sponsor, but if you do a search for the club - full name - it will pop up!
While it helps to have a 4x4, you do not have to have one to be a member. We have several members - including myself - that have open seats for any of your runs! And you can see - ahead of time - where some of the trails in northern ID are located.
If you have any questions, either PM me or e-mail me off the forum.

I know of places in eastern WA to wheel and several places in northern ID to wheel?
What type of trails are you looking for?
I am trying to get a couple of rigs together for a trail ride to the Twin Sisters and Mack/King Mtn trails in the Colville NF which is northwest of Kettle Falls.
The date of the trail ride would be Sunday, August 15th. It's on a Sunday because the individual who wants to go up there can not go on a Saturday. This would be an all-day trail ride as the beginning of the Twin Sisters trail is approximately 90 miles from the "Y" in Spokane.
I would rate both of these trails probably around a 2-1/2 or maybe in a couple of places a 3 (on a scale of 1 to 5). They are not that difficult! Probably the most likely damage you will incur is "NW pinstripping" because of the overgrowth of the trails. Nothing that could not be buffed out if it really bothered you! There is a gravel pit at the east end of the trail, but not sure we are allowed to play in it any more (we could the last time I was on these trails).
If anyone here is interested in going, you can PM me or prefer e-mail for all the details.
If you want to see some videos and photos from my last trip, check 'em out here:
