Default Flex arm questions.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the stock flex arms on a JKU are longer then on a 2dr JK or are they the same? If the stock JKU flex arms are longer, any reason they would not work on a 2dr? Has anyone tried this or heard of anyone that has? I have a friend that is about to put new upper and lowers on his JKU. And if there is a differance and they would work on a 2dr then we would put his stocks on my rig.

Mdash, Nwbronco Do either of you know who make flex arms that will work with a 2.5'" lift now that I put 35s on my back wheels sit close to my rubi rails and the pinch seem. I would to push the rear back a bit and get the front in a better position. I know Rubicon express make control arm correction brackets for the front but I would like to avoid them if at all possible. I am aware that I can always cut my rubi rails and the pinch seem but I would prefer to avoid doing so if at all possible. I have seen plenty of uppers and lowers for 3.5+ but nothing for a 2.5" lift I know many will tell me to go to a larger lift but I like and intend on staying at 2.5" of lift with 35s. I am wanting to keep the lowest center of gravity as possible but still have enough clearance.

Rockkrawler. The same ones come with the 2.5 max travel system. Run that lift with 35" km2 and bw flats and can fully flex out juuuuuust about a credit card space worth until fender contact.

Like said above. Rock Krawler does. I know Daystar does too. If you're trying to move the rear back then you can use just about anyones rear arms. Just watch your shock clearance on the rear sway bar depending on how far you move the rear end back. You may need to purchase the Synergy sway bar relocation spacer. It moves the sway bar down and back 1". You can move the rear back 1" without any other issues. If you try to move it back more then 1" then you may run into other issues like the rear track bar alignment, springs seating properly in the spring buckets, etc, etc. If you do move it back a full 1" then you may have to trim your rear pinch seam too.

I am hoping to just move it about 1/2 in I would like avoid having to do a bunch of extra mods if I don't need to. As long as I can push thing back a bit and get a little more room between the wheels and rubi rails that's my goal thank you for the info. Looks like I have some shopping to do here soon.

Dave at Northridge should be able to hook you up. Give him a call and tell him what you are trying to do.
