OREGON JK owners trip plan
I am reserving those dates outside of work..yet my work schedule can change on a dime. It's that job thing that pays for my new toy so I must respect it, luckily I have a cool boss who understands how stoked I am when cruising away from the office with the top down. It should be a sure thing. OCJK
Hey guys/girls could I get PM from all those that are planning on going on the Fort Rock trip? Even if you may not make it because you aren't sure about time off or what ever. Just want to get a number on how many are trying to go. Wouldn't mind having first names to go along with your username as well.
Hey, is this trip still open for people to join? I live in Seattle, but will be in Oregon at that time. Me, my rubi, and my buddy would love to join up.
(hmmm... maybe should have listed my friend before the jeep... nah...)

I will send you the info. on the trip. Let me know if you have any question.
Hey, Rupedog... maybe we should post some more specifics of the run here to kindle some more interest??

:toung: Here is a rough outline of the trip. When: June 22, 23, and 24th. We will all meet at the Gateway Mall in Springfield, Or. Take the East bound exit on to beltline rd. Turn Right at the light.(Gateway) You will see the mall on your right approx. 1/4 of mile down Gateway. There is an Applebees in the parking lot. We will meet there at 8:00 am on the 22nd. We will then head over using hwy 58.
This is a fun run and campout. It will be some exploring on dirt and rocky/gravely roads. We'll check out some of the points of interrest in the area, and we'll visit the rock krawling park that is in the area and see what's there. (I haven't been there yet) We have a couple of runs semi planed in the area. There won't be any hardcore wheelin. Just sort of a shake down for those that haven't had much of a chance to play with there JK's.
Where we are camping is a dry camp. NO WATER, so bring lots with you. for an example between Mrs. Rupedog and myself, we will be taking 5 gals of water at least... There is no restrooms, but I have a little fold out toilet that uses a plastic bag. It cost about 25.00 at BiMart or GI Joes. We are willing to share. (For a Price
) There are no tables or benchs. "We" will be sleeping in a tent, but if you have a tent trailer or what ever the road in is bumpy but nothing to worry about. Kids are welcome this is a family affair. This is a chance for us to meet others from the forum, and maybe plan more trips. This is going to be a very loose and layed back trip. No pressure to do anything but have a good time. As I stated in one of the threads above this is not closed to just JK's. It is a chance for those that are thinking about getting one to check ours out. Feel free to join us. If you have any questions PM ether me or '07JK fan. We will be more then happy to answer them. As of right now we have approx. 11 jeeps going. Some still are trying to get the time off, so we don't know whom is going to make it for sure yet. As soon as you know, could you let me know. Also if you just want to show up at the meeting place in Springfield at the last minute that is OK with us. Anyone in the Medford area contact 1BADJK, and you can follow him over from that direction. If you can't make it that morning let me know and I will give you direction to camp. '07JK fan will be leading a group from the Portland area and picking up others on the way down. Contact him if you want to travel with him. Lets have some Fun! later David Hey '07JK fan, is this what you were thinking?
Would it be weird of me to purchase such a recovery package such as the one on the main project-jk page, eventhough I have a stock JK. I will probably not be able to afford too much else before the Fort Rock trip. And how many will be bringing the red flag for dunes??
