I'm also new to this site. been on for about a week. HELLO

I went up to Mt hood 3 weeks ago looking for the "Barlow" trail to do some snow wheelin' and found a closed sign (bridge was out) when I got there. I was aiming for the section that starts a couple miles from where Hwy 26 heads south and hwy 35 heads east. here 45.284044,-121.682437 We were bummed
I would really like to do some snow runs up on hood sometime but I don't really know where to go. Lolo pass looks cool but I have never done it, plus, I am stock on 32" now so I am not sure I would make it through the white stuff they are getting now.

Can anyone share some insight on the condition of Lolo pass?

I was looking at someone's photo gallery of a Lolo Pass run which looked like it was a blast. Sorry I can't shoot credit where it's deserved, I can't remember what thread I was reading (maybe its this one)

Welcome. I suspect the top of Lolo Pass is buried in many feet of fresh snow right now and it may not be reachable for a stock JK Rubi. The best way to find out is to gear up and go find out if we can make it. Get on the tripcheck site and check the cameras around gov camp to get a sense of what the condtions might be like at the top of Lolo Pass.

I will have some free time this next weekend (Jan 28,29) and would like to get out for a snow run this weekend around Mt. Hood or in the Estacada area. Anyone interested? All Jeeps and experience level are welcome.

I went up a couple weeks ago...about an hour outside of estacada, there are a bunch of reservoirs and a giant pipe line off to the left. that area was really fun once you climbed up a couple thousand feet...I got to use my winch for the first time so I didn't fall off a cliff but yeah if you don't feel like driving that far there is silver fox rv park that is fun if there is snow

Default Raising an old thread...

Hey if anyone is out there, I am headed out to Tillamook OHV park on August 29 if anyone wants to go. I wanna test out my project TJ. I may also be able to go that weekend too, but that is Labor Day weekend and it may get a little busy.
I am up for the green/blue/black trails myself.

Reply or PM me and we will see what happens.

Default Count me in

Count me in, sort of. I should be available on the 15th or Sunday the 16th. My little project TJ is soooo close to being done and I wanna give it a whirl. If you guys go with a different date, I might be able to do that too.

all the best-

Been awhile since any posts have been made. Any locals still follow? It'd be fun to get a run together with a bunch of us. Thoughts?
