lol I'm not a Seahawks fan by any stretch but when you guys get the better record and have "home field advantage" then you can make the rules....

From today's Seattle PI:

The same restrictions are in place for Sunday’s AFC championship game in Denver.

Indeed, The Denver Post reports:

Tickets will be available only to those with a billing address in the Rocky Mountain states, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and Western Kansas.

And Sports Illustrated notes that teams have done this before:

In January 2007, the San Diego Chargers tried to limit access to tickets for their playoff game against the Patriots to Southern California residents.

.. In that same timeframe, the Chicago Bears set measures in motion to block Seattle Seahawks fans from buying tickets for the divisional playoff between the two teams.

At that time, league spokesman Greg Aiello said that there was no rule that would prohibit such limitations.

Hey, let’s not let reason barge into this discussion. This is football.

Sportsmaship... Is there not any in football nowadays?

The Seahawks fans whine about a Beats commercial that portrays a teams' fan base wearing similar colors of the Seahawks in a bad light yet are ok with flying a plane and banner over Candlestick?

And now the issue with ticket sales. Certainly there are ways to circumvent the restriction but I think any team that needs to block sales don't deserve the W IMO.

If your fan base is and your noise is what will be the difference between winning and losing, I am saddened by your team's weakness!

They're still available at Ticketmaster, e-tix, etc.

that being said......GO BRONCOS!!!!

We have tickets, and we are in 99654...from across another country away! (And I hate both teams...LOL)

It's too much to ask fans who've never been there to act like they've been there. I was just like these obnoxious Seattle fans back when the Sacramento Kings were good. And before the Giants won their first World Series in 2010. Let Seattle fans have their fun, the team still has to win the actual game. I feel like Seattle fans would be more tolerable if they'd just pop their cherry and win a Super Bowl already. My team stands in the way. Good luck
