Visiting Seattle--advice on were to eat, go and see, etc
If you're in the mood for some East Coast food, I recommend Tat's Deli. I'll hit that place up whenever I get a craving for some legit philly cheese steak. closest I can find to the real thing. Other then that, everyone has already put up the best suggestions.
Obviously wanna try out Ivar's as well. Also go to CJ's Eatery in belltown. the best breakfast place i've had. They have a rotating menu, but if you can, get the Chorizo gravy plate? I forgot what's it's called cuz I always miss it, but that was the best food that i've ever eaten. ever. you could also check out Honey Hole up on the hill. It used to be a small hole in the wall, but now it's gotten pretty mainstream. Food is still good tho. Another Seattle great is Marination Mobile. There's the Marination Station up on the hill as well. Mexican-Korean infused food. Get the beef or pork tacos. Sprinkle the lime on there and oh damn. I'm gonna have to go this weekend now.
Also check out China town if you can! We have some of the best DimSum around. You can just ask someone and they'll point you to one of the many amazing places there.

Ballard- Pho Than Bros for noodle soup. Old Town Ale House for suds.
Chinooks for the oyster sampler and the boats
Pikes brewing is good in the evening
There's an oyster bar near the crab pot down on the pier- oysters and suds.
Manny's pale ale from Georgetown is the beer of choice in Seattle (mine)
The hanger cafe in Georgetown near Boeing for breakfast/brunch
Everyone always raves about 13 Coins, eh
Walk all of downtown- from the space needle to china town. Those little boat tours are kind of nice.
The Garage on Capitol Hill for bowling
Udistrict - big time brewery and do some walking, eating and drinking in that area
Karaoke at the Waterwheel - cool little bar
Fremont troll
Melting pot- fondue
4 points (?) bar near the space needle- can be a fun little place.
There's a little Thai place in magnolia village- pretty decent.
There's always Olive Garden :barf:
I miss Seattle! Don't skimp do it all day all night

Oyster House, at the Pier, has very good seafood.
Feierabend, behind REI in downtown, has excellent German food and beer.
Places to see; it depends on the weather.
Check the Space Needle, take a ferry ride, drive around the lakes and if you want to see some snow there might be already some at I-90 near the pass.
If you are up for a day trip and excellent German food go to Leavenworth. You will feel like in the Bavaria. It's about 2 hours from Seattle.

I hit up pike brewery, was very impressed with the beer their. Also hit up local 360, awesome food. Did some oyster shooters at the pike market. Super tired, was up for over 24 hours, serious beer drinking, chili pepper concert last night was great. Let Fridays festivities commence!
I gotta tell you. We Seattle folk completely failed you!
We should have planned a get together tonight and showed you a good time. Sorry man!
If you need coffee this morning, go to DeLaurenti in the market. Great Italian cafe`
