Default Visiting Seattle--advice on were to eat, go and see, etc

Will be in Seattle from this Thursday AM-Sunday AM. Will be going to the chilipepper show on Thursday, but other than that anything is game. Will be staying near the Pikes Place market. My wife and I are huge food/drink fans and am looking for recommendations. Any places we must see or eat at? Looking for great seafood, beer, etc etc.

Pricey but well worth it - Aqua by El Gaucho on Pier 70. Just went there for the first time this past weekend. Excellent food, service and waterfront location.

The obvious is to walk the Market. Although winter months it's not as "booming." If you like Thai food... Go to Franks Produce, buy an apple or some kind of fruit from Chaz and ask him "where do the locals eat good Thai food." He will direct you to the best (scariest looking) restraunt but the food will knock your socks off! The Pike Place Brewery is a fun joint too.

I second that. Great local beer. There is a lot of stuff to do in Seattle. One thing is the underground tour. Used to do that as a kid, fun lil tour. There is the new ferris wheel on the pier too. There is also an aquarium on the waterfront also.

Matt's in the Market is another great food spot. Above (2nd floor) the market on the East side of the street. Catfish sandwich is DA BOMB!!!

My favorite restaurant at the moment in Seattle is Local 360. Anything on the menu is amazingly good. Anything from Rabbit Pot Pie, Salmon filets or a steakhouse burger. So damn good.

Dukes chowder house, the crab pot on the water front for the seafood feast's are two of my favorites. Enjoy the beers with them for sure though!
