Hey! I'm in Hillsboro, OR. My JKX is completely bone stock... loving my donut tires... NOT! That will be my 1st mod., but may have to wait for a month or two and don't want to wait to try my new rig out.

I'd love to meet up with some local JK's for a trail ride. Wouldn't mind seeing some other Wrangler variants out there either.

I'm surprised at the small # of 2dr JK's I've seen here anywhere other than at the dealer. Seen more Unlimited 4dr's, but still seems few and far between... Maybe I haven't been paying attention well enough.

PM me or (better yet) post here if you'd like to get together! Perhaps a trip to the TSF? I bought my OHV pass just days after picking up my Wrangler in anticipation of going exploring... Good buy, but only if I use it...

Open to other suggestions on where to go... Lemme know!

My jeep will be here next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm tired of waiting, its even paid for now. PIAA 525's for the A-posts on the way too. Makes me just want to order more stuff. AEV soon, my wife's holding my spending back! Maybe I'll buy her some scrapbook stuff to butter her up, but going into the scrap store is like going to hell for a little while.

Question new JK owner, new forum member

Hello All! I am in Oregon City, I have a stock JK 4-door X. I have many questions that I want to unleash on this forum before making mods to Eightball (jeep name). I would totally trail with others as I know nothing on trailing in Oregon. I do know how to get dirty as I grew up in Alaska driving beater trucks to BFE and back. READY24X4.

Question So... Wheeling anyone?

Looks like there are a few of us Oregonians and SW Washington folks here for now... Hopefully more later...

When are we going wheeling? I've got the itch really bad. I know next weekend is Easter, but maybe the weekend after that?

I'm in Hillsboro and not overly familiar with the local 4x4 spots, but understand the TSF (Tillamook State Forest, for those that aren't familiar) is pretty good with varied trails. You do need and Oregon OHV pass to go there though, which I have... Only $10 for 2yrs!

That said, I'd be willing to travel a little to get to a nice spot in your vicinity! Come on folks! Let's get out there!

Hi All, Just found this site 2 days ago, joined yesterday. I got my JK 2dr about a month and a half ago. Put a 150 miles on it and then have not been able to drive it sense. (I'm layed up with a back injury, gettin old) So far I love it. I have had cj5, cj7, 95yj,2000tj and now this. They keep getting better and better. Mine is a x model with the s pk. It is stock and will stay that way for awhile. My wife has been driving it , and loves it too. So far it hasn't even been off road yet. sucks huh? Hopefully soon it will be out there getting dirty. It' s cool to see that others from Oregon are on this site. later David

Welcome David! Glad to see another Oregonian here! Seemed like there were very few in these parts. Sorry to hear about your back... Get well soon and if you're in the PDX area and feel so-inclined, let's go wheel. Haven't really wheeled mine much either other than explore a few fire roads. Mine is also very stock... JKX with C package and in Rescue Green.

Sounds good, I've been to browns camp once, along time ago.

we were on dirt bikes. I would like to go again. The last couple of summers we have been doing some wheeling and camping over in the Fort Rock area. Love that High Desert stuff. Nothing like sand and dust in everything.
