we were on dirt bikes. I would like to go again. The last couple of summers we have been doing some wheeling and camping over in the Fort Rock area. Love that High Desert stuff. Nothing like sand and dust in everything.
Yeah, I love the high desert too... Lived in Reno, NV for 'bout 15 years and there was lot's of good dusty wheeling to be had there! Not to mention the Rubicon trail was in our backyard....

Default New JK in southern OR

Just picked up my Jeep Green Rubi last night at 08:00 pm. I'm really impressed and can't wait to get it muddy. I found a dent in the front bumper after it was unloaded from the truck, I think the trucking company will owe me some $$$, for new bumper! What great luck! By 09:00 dash opened up and XM installed with Braketron bracket. Tomorrow, a-post lights, and mud. I had to work today, but I'll get some pictures tomorrow. :toung: :toung: :toung:

Congtrates on you JK. Depending on the out come of my back injury, I'm hoping to go play in the Fort Rock and Christmas Valley area this summer. There is also a Bend Club that pushed for a rock crawling park in the fort rock area called Ground HOG. I plan on checking it out while over there. It's not to far from where we camp. Maybe us from Oregon (or anywhere else) would like to plan something. Like I said I have to get through this back thing first. Again congrates on the jeep. David (Rupedog)

Checking in from oregon. I also live in Oregon City. Make sure to keep me up to date on plans! It will be my first trip so I'd love to have some experienced drivers out there with me.

Just did a count of posters is in this thread... Actually looks like 9 (including me) interested in some OR wheeling, although only 5 seem active on this forum.

  7. EIGHTBALL - PDX area
Others interested, but haven't visited this forum much yet (post if you're still interested!).
  1. fetopher - SW WA

Default Fort Rock or Where ever

Include me in the list please: I would love to do a group ride as I do have a stock x. What would be the required passes to have? And what would be the initial items a stock Jk owner would want to purchase for a first trail ride?

Thanks All
