Added to the list!

As far as needed and/or recommended equipment and we're probably looking at a mild run, needed equipment should be pretty minimal:
  1. Fire extinguisher
  2. Tow strap and tow hooks or some other means of attaching a strap (I don't have tow hooks on my JK yet, though)
  3. 1st aid kit
  4. A highlift jack would be good, but there aren't too many jacking points on the JK's plastic bumpers (unless you don't mind chewing it up).
  5. Extra food & water
Those are just a few things that come to mind and I'm probably forgetting some key ones, but others can add their 2 cents...

Sounds great guys! And yes, my JK is still in VA :whoaisme:

Hopefully by mid to late June it (and my wife, pugs, belongings, etc) will be here. If it is, then I'm game for this!

I'm in Newberg, Oregon... which is only 25 minutes from the Portland area. I'd love to take part in a trip or two!

Just bought a 4dr rubicon this week ! I live in Klamath Falls and would be interested in some trail riding. Nothing too hairy to start as I'm new and so is my Jeep, LOL. Would also love to hook up with someone to talk about mods.

Hey, drbeddow! Congrats on your new JK!!

Funny you should find this forum. Seems there are more and more OR JK's. Several of us... 'bout 7-8... or 9, including you, should you choose to accept this mission... are headed to Fort Rock to do a little light wheeling/exploring. You're welcome to join us. Express your interest here:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/northwest-50/oregon-jk-owners-trip-plan-7059/

Hope to have you join us! There are a couple of folks down south planning on attending.
