Being a southeast Michigan native, I learned to ride at Mt. Brighton, and have been teaching there for almost 20 years now.

I also teach at Boyne Highlands, occasionally, and even made it into their brochures for a few years!

I love getting out west, when I can. My favorite is Steamboat Springs, although Copper can be fun, too.

Nowadays, I mostly travel the Mighty Midwest running AASI events/exams in Michigan and Ohio.

Santa Fe and Taos NM- 14 hours is the closest snow we got to here, and season passes save a crapload.

Depending on Finances for the season sometimes we try to hit up Breck

Judging by the amount of skis and boards and camper kids I'm seeing around, I guess Blackcomb just opened up the glacier for summer riding/skiing. I'm not gonna go, summer is for jeeping. Might go up for a hike one day though.

Unfortunately, I have to ski in Western PA. Used to live in Denver and skied all over the 70 corridor. Heading back in January to ski Vail, A Basin, Beaver and Aspen. Should be heading to Salt lake for my first trip to Utah in March.

I love Vail, love Steamboat....but there is nothing better than Jackson Hole.

If I didn't have free mileage tickets to Denver, we'd be back at the Hole again this year. Best terrain on earth.

A chalky, stale day off the Tram....still beats an epic powder day in Western PA.

Western PA still beats Florida...

Positive attitudes do wonders!
