Default Go Pro pictures and Video?

I have debating on getting a go pro camera. Waterproof, shockproof, and limitless mounting options make them seem great for jeeps so I was just wondering if anyone can post some pictures and/or videos they have shot with a go pro to give me and idea of the quality of the camera and different places they have it mounted. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. Just finally decided the go pro was the one I wanted. Check out "go pro" on YouTube for a ton of video clips taken during all kinds of action. There are some good side by side videos comparing different cameras too.

I currently have a couple vids up. Nothing hardcore really since I'm still building the jeep, but this will give you an idea of some shots. Quality is amazing, and they just released the new GoPro Hero 2! Something I recommend is getting the attachment screen which lets you display what you are shooting or about to shoot. Some of the angles, even in the video's below, that I used I would have changed if I could have seen what it looked like before I shot. I like shots showing the suspension working, I just havent found a good mounting spot yet.

I was sorta on the same standing as you are about the GoPro camera but once I bought it and found out how to use it to its fullest capability, some of the videos and photos this camera can take are quite impressive. This last summer, I mounted the camera on my hood and had it take photos every 10 seconds all the way up to the top of Glacier Park. I would definitely recommend this camera if you are on the edge about buying it.

You may want to do some forum searching. There are several threads about GoPro's. I have also posted my mounting locations in several threads too.

Long story Short, the GoPro is great. Buy the GoPro Hero2 Motorsports.

I bought a gopro this summer and used it for some wheeling videos. my nephew likes to watch and pretend he's driving. here's one... https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...-for-my-Nephew.

I'm also an snowboarder and plan to use it this winter a bunch. I haven't really used it to it's full potential yet. I've seen tons of cool videos, both wheeling and snowboarding. pretty fun little camera.
