I assume they mean the exhaust manifold. I hear that is a common issue. My engine makes sputtering noises which sounds like a bad manifold gasket, but when I took it in a few months back, the stealership insisted everything was kosher.

I'm considering headers just to eliminate the problem...not that I expect any power from it.

My door fixed itself two days before taking it in. The tech removed the mickey mouse alarm system the dealership installs on all their vehicles. Said it could have been giving me fuss like that. The "Rubicon" sticker was ordered. So yes and no it got fixed. I know it's gonna leak water tomorrow though!

Default Chapman.

I bougt my JK at Chapman....never had a more positive sales experience. Same with the maintenance. My son bought his jeep at Jim Marsh, and all I can say is that I am overjoyed they lost their Jeep dealership. What a bunch of a##holes!

One interesting thing...Chapman had a lot of thefts and so they installed these strange motion sensor alarms on many of their cars. I have one on mine by default. Interestingly, when my doors are off and I just tap on the dashboard, the dome light comes on! I am hoping that that is the extent of the screwy electrical problems on the docket.

That is what the tech removed for me. I don't need any mickey mouse motion alarm that someone's stuck in there. That have a few guys that run through and install them on everything, I knew nothing about it until he told me. He said no ill effects of removing it, I took it out.

Those hard tops must be pretty strong to support you up there. The ladies must love you!
