I don't really speak to anyone at any other dealerships. I know ours is maxed out with techs versus stalls. Only 13 bays at BMW in Hendo

I believe I saw your jeep as well CrazyNova. It has the factory wheels painted black, right? Looks nice! I was halfway thinking I should paint mine black after seeing yours. We were there getting a part for my brother's PT Cruiser. Let me just add my .02 about Chapman service.

My brother's PT is an 03 with over 100k miles and the motor mounts gave way on him the other day. He brings it in to have them look at it and they tell him that all of the mounts need to be replaced and that it will cost around $1500 just to replace the mounts. I told him he should get a second opinion first so he drove it home very very slowly and we took a look at it. It appears to us that the motor mounts are fine except for the upper torque strut. The upper torque strut failure caused the bolts to snap on the other two mounts. We were able to get the other broken bolts out and ordered new ones. Those are now replaced and appear to be holding for now. All we're waiting on is the upper torque strut which is only $52 from chysler.

I know, long story but it seems like they were really making this fix more expensive than it had to be. We'll see once we get the upper torque strut and try replacing that. Either way I don't think it should have been even close to $1500. Now that my jeep's past 40k miles it's only covered by the lifetime powertrain warranty.

Yeah, that white 2 door was mine this morning. Thanks for the compliments. When I got it, the inside was fairly wet. I guess sitting in a rainstorm for a few hours made the top leak, though it stopped once I got moving. Does anyone know who the green unlimited with the Warn Powerplant belongs to?

I swear I know that guy from somewhere. I remember seeing him on a run before.

Good news, my driveshaft is in... I'm going to get the Jeep in there on Monday and hope that the new driveshaft solves the vibration issue for good.

Got my rear window zipper fixed at Chapman today. Noted my one strap on my soft top was pulling apart. Pretty much said if it happens again it will get a new soft top. Amazing how battered mine is for less than a year. They really do hold up terribly. So I'm holding out on mine for awhile, need a hard top...
