Last night some asshat stole all the gas out of my 2013 hour. The bad thing is is they drilled two holes in the gas tank to get it!!! When the police showed up they said I was the 4th jeep in the area to get hit! Only newer jeeps are getting hit. Just want to let you guys know. I'll post some pics tomorrow morning.

 

likely for the access and enough clearance to put a 5 gallon can under the rig.

 

It was odd to me that other lifted vehicles in the neighborhood didn't get hit too. Just as easy to get to and my tank. They must know the jeep tanks well.

 

That's what I'm thinking. Like I said, access. They know where to drill, don't need to crawl under, etc.

Look at it this way, get a new tank covered under insurance and now buy an aftermarket skid.

 

Yup!! I guess it's time for surveillance cameras at my house!!! Less money to mod jeep :(

 

You can pick up a nice camera kit at Costco for about $200-250. It won't stop the next hit, but it will at least get a shot of the person and hopefully catch them. I would camp out and beat them with a bat. In the legs, just don't let them be able to identify you.

 

I was thinking more shoot a flare gun into the vehicle that they are storing all the stolen gas in
