HE'S ALIVE!!!! back from the dead!

Again this is gray area, the law says your tires can't stick out past the side of your vehicle... Are you really ever going to get stopped just for that, no..

We don't have annual vehicle inspections yet in Nevada, just smog checks.

Default Side Mirrors

If I take my doors off do I have to have a side mirror in Nevada? Or is the rear view mirror good enough?

I know this is an old thread but is there anyone here from Nevada that knows for sure the law about having the doors off?

Doors off is legal. The only mirror law states that you must have a mirror that allows you to see 200 ft behind you. The rear view meets these requirements so side mirrors are not mandatory in NV.

This is the way I read the law too and have run with no side mirror. That said, picking up a side mirror is cheap ($10-20) and may help you avoid an issue.
