Default Question about Nevada trails

The wife and I are heading to Las Vegas next week and were wondering if there are any small recreation areas or easy trails out near HWY 93 or 318? We are driving from WA down through ID. What I'm kinda looking for is a trail or area that is a 1 or 2 in difficulty because I want her to get used to going offroad without scaring her half to death(she is a real newbie to 4 wheeling)
I see on a map I have Cherry Creek RA but I am having trouble finding much about it other than Goshute Canyon that runs through that area. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

both of these are very easy to get to and are not far from Vegas; Knob Hill is basically just dirt roads getting there and there many trails of different difficulties and different styles of wheeling (rocks, soft sand, ect...)
