Default D Ring Shackles

Where do you get shackles for your bumpers?

Is there a specific size rating needed?

Found mine at my local Autoparts store from what I recall they are 3/4".....Remember to pick up some Ballcock washers to place on the d-rings to keep them from clanging around.

I see some are rated for 4000 lb winches and some are for 5000 and over. You guys seem to recommend the smaller. is this true?

If you plan to use it, just make sure they have the WLL(Working load limit) stamped on it. And they are made in the U.S.
