Weather so far is high 70's during the day and mid 40's at night.

Man I'm ready for this run. Guys remember to bring some fire wood for the camp fire. I'll be taking a couple bundles my self. Also got all the maintanence on the jeep squared away. We got a good group going so I am reday to do some wheelin and exploring of the area.

 

I might be in Anza that weekend with a couple of friends in TJ's camping and treking up to Truckhaven. Maybe we'll run into you guys out there.

Would love to go camping but work and my kid's school makes it a no go. Maybe I can make it there on Saturday.

 

For anyone interested we will meet up at Hwy 79 and the 15 fwy at 6:00 am where will have breakfast. At 7:00 we will caravan to the trailhead.

Anza is definitely an easier trail. More of a scenic run than anything there are two spots on the trail that are tight or steep but that's it.

 

I have friends that have done this trail and they said this is a easy run and it should be really good this time of year. I'm taking my kids and they're excited about the stories of the anza borrego lights.
