i'm sitting at a red light (hwy 65 & 7th standard rd. Bakersfield) my lights about to turn green and a redrock 4 door catches the corner of my eye. i look over and wave but the guy has a disgusted look on his face as he's looking at my jeep. i love the look of my all black 2 door but maybe he didn't. it's not often i wave at another jeeper and they don't wave back.

 

Maybe he didn't like looking at your balls!

 

Don't feel bad it happens all the time in the OC too. It seems like only the lifted and modded up JEEP's will wave back.

 

san diego too...i've had 2 other wranglers since 1991 and the jeep wave has definitely diminished...sad day

 

I wave at nice Jeeps...they just look at me like "Wtf? Do I know this dude??"

 

I wave at all Jeeps, but I only get about 40% back. Sometimes I get the clueless look from the mallcrawlers, and dirty looks from the TJ, YJ, CJ, drivers that are stubborn and really believe that 4dr Jeeps aren't real Jeeps (only applies to a select few).

 

Yeah its about 50/50 out here in the Bay Area. But nothing worst than the people parked next to you yell out "nice HUMMER!!!"

 

 

Maybe he felt bad for you since they appear to be a little blue.

I like the Jeep a lot though.

 

Now that Winter's back in session, I'm seeing at least 5-10 more jeeps on the road EVERYDAY than I did when weather was nice... I guess the rich folks around me garage their convertibles/Benzs/Beemers for the winter and pull out the ol' trusty Jeep.

Now that I'm lifted on big tires, I get a lot more wave backs... but I'm the one to initiate the wave.
