My wife thinks that many of the Jeep folks just don't know about the Jeep wave.

 

fortunately or unfortunately, the JK has opened up the world of jeeps to a whole new breed of people and as it would seem, a lot of them have no clue what the jeep wave is and may not even care to know.

 

i waved to a unlimited on 22s with lowpros the other day... he just blankly stared back.

my girlfriend said i shouldnt have waved in the first place.

 

naw. i think it's better to have waved and been denied than to not have waved at all.

I agree many people aren't aware of the wave but I think we have a bit of culture clashing with the wave as well. We are in CA where people don't even know their neighbors. Now they are supposed to wave at a complete stranger? Plus there's a lot happening on our streets. I know I’ve missed a waver when I was busy trying to figure out what that jack hole to my right was about to do.

I just keep waving; maybe i get a smile or a wave, maybe not. I still can't get my wife to wave (culture vs jeep culture).

 

I wave at all Wranglers and rarely get a wave back, even in a 2 door

I usually have to remind my husband to wave, but he's usually busy keeping us from being hit by someone who just cut us off and doesn't even see the other Jeep.

i usually wave at all jeeps, my girls always ask "daddy who was that?"

it's funny sometimes when you wave at another jeeper and they look suprised and wave like OMG they waved at me.

and too that guy that didn't wave back, if you ever get stuck let me know. i'll be glad to help you out and maybe then my jeep wont be disgusting to you anymore.
