Down for a fix and run. Have extra work tools if needed.

I spoke with a member of drifters 4X4 club today, about Cleghorn. The sponsor the trail, and I told him that he may want to see if any members would care to join us.

I freaked out a bit, because of the pictures. He doesn't know how much good we'll be able to do without heavy equipment. He is going to check with the forestry service to make sure that they have not close the trial. Over all the guy was really happy to hear that we would like to help out. He's a good guy and I'm guessing that the drifters are a great club.

I say lets go check it out. If they have closed the trail there's tons of other places to go wheelin in that area.

If anybody cares for me to bring extra tools (picks/shovels) please let me know.

A good place to meet is at the McDonalds, located at the Hwy 138 exit from the 15. It's one exit past Cleghorn road. Meeting time is 7:30, and we'll leave for the trailhead no later than 8:00.

I'll be on CB Channel 10

Looks like we have some folks that I have not met. FYI, I keep a phone list of local JK-Forum members who go on runs with us. If you care to be added, just send me your information. The following format is helpful:
JK-Forum Nick, Name, Cell, Home, Emergency Contact Name, Emergency Contact Number, Backup Emergency Contact Number

The phone list password is: JK-Forum

I guess i could handle some "manuel labor" if i can be of any help.

I'd like to see some of these other JKs in person and see what mods i can talk the honey into...

McD's at 7:30...?

Question... where does the Cleghorn Rd come out...? i'm on Google Earth and it looks like it goes forever....

are you guys going all the way till you hit 138 again over by Silverwood lake or just "wheelin it"...? its only 7 miles "as the crow flies".... looks like a fun trek.

yes Cleghorn comes out at Silverwood lake.

The schedule is up to the group. We'll work on the road as long as we want to, and wheel as long as we want to.
