Nitro Sleeve Install
Prep time took the longest but we weren't exactly rushing it either. Passenger sleeve went in probably less than 5 minutes. Of course the short sleeve on the driver's side took the longest but probably only 15-20 minutes tops.
At least it wasn't some 4 hour b.s. with the sledge/hammer and then giving up to take a grinder to the last inch like some people have done lol

Had in freezer for 6 days but my axle tubes were also in pretty good shape. I haven't been going hard/hardcore on the trails because I didn't have C's done yet until recently. Been pretty easy on the pedal.
If you think your tubes might be bent a little, I'd do dry ice the night before after having them in the freezer for several days. Like Hayward said, you'll spend about $40 in dry ice but it'll definitely shrink them more compared to your typical freezer.

Yes. That is what I meant. First time installing a set, I heard all the complaints from friends and forum posters. An engineer friend of mine recommended placing them in the fridge. I thought, "Sure, that will work!" (With great sarcasm). But, it seemed to help considerably. Since then, that is the technique I have used, along with cleaning the axle tubes thoroughly and lubing them, and it has not let me down yet.
